Cave Tastings with the Winemaker

Limited to fifteen (15) lucky guests, this experience involves a thorough walk-through tour of VIADER’s underground caves and a barrel tasting led by winemakers Delia and/or Alan Viader.
Flat shoes and a warm layer are strongly encouraged. Please note space is extremely limited. We encourage you to call ahead.
Tickets are $50/person.
New Release! DARE by Viader Cabernet Franc Release Party
Sunday, March 17th, 12PM to 4PM
The VIADER Estate is known for its silky Cabernet Sauvignon and celebrated for its stunning Cabernet Franc. Be among the first to try the new release of 2011 DARE by Viader Cabernet Franc. Light bites to pair and a special offer for case orders in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. This is your chance to stock your cellar before we sell out of one of our most popular wines!

New Release! VIADER “Black Label” Release Party
Sunday, April 21st: 12-4PM
The most recent estate blend, the VIADER “Black Label” has earned its own following. Created by second generation winemaker Alan Viader, this special red blend offers a new perspective on the VIADER Estate. Tastings on this day will feature the 2011 vintage of our VIADER “Black Label.” The Viader family and staff will offer guided tours of the winery caves throughout the afternoon. Light hors d’oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Mariela Viader.

25th Annual VIADER & “V” Harvest Party
Sunday, August 4th: 12-4PM
Join the Viader family for our 25th annual harvest party to celebrate the release of our signature blends from our VIADER Estate. Taste the 2010 VIADER Proprietary Red Blend that wine critic Stephen Tanzer describes, “If the aromas are Barolo, then the texture is more Burgundy,” and the 2010 VIADER “V” Petit Verdot Blend as: “Broad and wild in the mouth, with edgy acidity nicely buffered by mid-palate density” (May/June 2011). Second generation winemaker Alan Viader will be in charge of the grill, cooking light bites to pair with our elegant reds from our Howell Mountain Estate.
We will be offering regular winery tours and special wine promotions.

VIADER Vertical Tasting at Twilight
Saturday, October 19th: 4-7PM
Join founding winemaker Delia Viader and her family on Howell Mountain for a guided vertical tasting of various consecutive vintages of our signature VIADER Proprietary Red Blend. Selected Library Reserve wines and current release wines will be available for tasting and paired with a small array of complimentary hors d'oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Mariela Viader.
