Overwhelming aromas of violets and purple flowers, with black pepper, cinnamon, star anise followed by ripe red plum, boysenberry, blackberry, tart cherry, vanilla, sandalwood, and wet stone. The creamy mid-palate contains baking spices with ripe blueberry, baked red delicious apples and cocoa powder on the lingering and complex finish. Great acidity and great texture. Over time, the flavors develop in complexity with notes of wild strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry with espresso bean and chocolate. We recommend decanting for at least 2 hours.
