Aromatics of vanillin, sweet caramel, with licorice, black currant, and cocoa powder supported by secondary notes of delicate flowers, cardamom and tobacco. This wine shows a plush entry that leads to a well-defined mid-palate and a long more textured finish.

The Syrah and Malbec components impart a dark inky color. Aromas of ripe figs, with juicy black cherry, fresh huckleberry and blackberry are carried by its classy, elegant structure. Smooth silky tannins fill the mouth, followed by the finish which is graced by a slight earthiness, minerality and sweet oak flavors. Excellent depth, fresh clean fruit with vibrant acidity. It invites you to have a second glass.
Overwhelming aromas of violets and purple flowers, with black pepper, cinnamon, star anise followed by ripe red plum, boysenberry, blackberry, tart cherry, vanilla, sandalwood, and wet stone. The creamy mid-palate contains baking spices with ripe blueberry, baked red delicious apples and cocoa powder on the lingering and complex finish. Great acidity and great texture. Over time, the flavors develop in complexity with notes of wild strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry with espresso bean and chocolate. We recommend decanting for at least 2 hours.
